Edit documents locally
With MEYER | PDF from MEYER EDV GmbH, you can edit PDF documents locally on your Windows PC. Modify text and objects, merge files, split PDFs and rearrange pages. A preview is available when reducing file size and compressing documents.

Redaction removes text, images and graphics from the file within the selected area. You can create forms manually and fill them in. Digital PDF signatures use your own certificate; MEYER | PDF does not create qualified electronic signatures. For construction trades and planning, the software offers dimensioning, quantity takeoff and automatic dimension chains from vector plans (alpha); results must be checked for mathematical accuracy and reviewed by a suitably qualified person.
Optical character recognition (OCR) runs on your PC. The “MEYER | PDF” virtual printer creates PDFs from Windows applications that support printing. Other tools include image and HPGL import, Office import with LibreOffice installed, Word and Excel export, and File Explorer previews and thumbnails. Editing works offline; licence activation and checks every 14 days require internet access. Cloud AI features are not available in version 1.55.3.
Available features depend on the edition. The 60-day trial of the Pro features available in this version starts only after you explicitly accept the licence terms in the application. Free covers one person, one device and major version 1: viewing, navigation, zoom, search, printing, media features, deleting individual pages, redaction and saving. New Free licence keys cannot be requested at the moment; existing rights of use remain unaffected. Without a key, only viewing, navigation, zoom, search, printing and media features remain available after the trial. Pro licences cover one person on up to two devices they own; licence options are listed in the shop.
